Obituary

Kevin Troy Reeves passed away on Wednesday, May 22, 2024. He was born on November 5, 1982, in Daytona Beach, FL and was a lifelong resident. Kevin loved the beach and surfing. It was his passion. He also loved plants: growing them, learning about them, and teaching others how to take care of them. Kevin enjoyed golf and spent many years working on golf courses. Yoga was also an important part of his life. His kind heart, generous spirit, and loving nature will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Kevin is survived by his father Steve Reeves, his mother, Beth Womack (Mike), his brother Eric Reeves (Lauren) and his sister Cara Reeves (Eddie) along with his grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was also blessed with a community of kind and supportive friends. There will be a paddle out on Saturday, June 8, at 8:30 AM at Toronita approach Wilbur By the Sea. A celebration of life will be held at Sugar Mill Country Club (100 Club House Circle, New Smyrna Beach, FL) on Sunday, June 9, at 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to New Smyrna Chapter of the Christian Surfers (christiansufersus.com/give).
