Born in Terre Haute, IN, he moved to Florida in 2000. He worked in a variety of positions in restaurants, construction, etc.
After working in the family business, Pinch a Penny Pools, from 2008 – 2018, he was proud to become a small business owner of KTS Pool service – maintenance and repairs, contractor for Aqua Works Pools.
Incredible loving Son, “Hubby”, Bro, Father, Nephew, Uncle and Friend, he loved Florida and the Great Outdoors.
The following is part of a beautiful tribute written by his Brother – Marc:
I am KT, a man of passion and compassion. I am generous to a fault, and will literally give you the shirt off my back. I am the fiercest friend you will ever have. In my world, family comes first and none is more important than mine. I am the guy who walks the beach throwing the starfish and even the jellyfish back in the water so they can live.
I am Kevin, a man of the outdoors. I find joy in all things Florida and I am consumed with our beaches, 4 wheeling, bonfires, camping, boating the St. Johns, deep sea fishing, kayaking, wildlife, and even that day in the mudhole. I am the guy who stops to move the turtle to the side of the road.
I am K-Rock, a man of action. My heart is worn on my sleeve. I am a simple man, with a hands on approach to life and work,.. I take pride in my work and have succeeded as a small business owner. No job is too big or overwhelming. I work hard and play hard. I am the guy you can count on to get the job done, whatever it takes.
I am Kevin Michael Taylor, Son, “Hubby”, Brother, Father, Nephew, Uncle, and Friend
A private service will be held at sea later this month to celebrate his life.
