Obituary
Kimberly Jane Evans, 51, of Bithlo, FL passed away peacefully and suddenly of cardiac arrest on Wednesday, June 28, 2017, at Florida Hospital Orlando with her mother and sister by her side.
Kimberly Jane Evans was born January 6, 1966 to Christine A. Carson of Orlando, FL and Richard J. Evans of Pittsburgh, PA. Kim was born at Homestead Hospital, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Kim spent her childhood in the Pittsburgh area, and cherished the time with her maternal grandparents of West Mifflin, PA. After graduating from Upper St. Clair High School in 1984, Kim moved to Orlando and began a long career in the printing industry and office management.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her fiance, Terry Rossman and her mischievous cat, Scamp, big sister, Danielle Evans, her younger brother, Richard S. Evans, his wife Malinda, and their children Chase and Cole, and the extended Evans and Carson families, her Aunt Glen Mae Thomson of Dallas, TX and her many cousins and friends here and in Pennsylvania. Kim was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Marguerite “Jane” (Pope) and Robert J. Carson, her paternal grandparents, Joseph R. and Elisabeth Evans, her beloved Uncle Robert H. Carson, and her precious cat Spike.
Kim was an avid reader of fantasy and fiction. With that said, her corneas were donated so that someone can enjoy the ability of restored vision with the assistance of Kerelink Southeast. Kim had an innate ability to bring levity to any situation with her wry humor. Oftentimes she wasn’t even aware she was doing it. We will dearly miss that. Kim was an animal lover and advocate for those less fortunate. In lieu of flowers, please remember Kim with a donation to Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando, 2727 Conroy Road, Orlando, FL 32839, petallianceorlando.org or I Am Love Outreach & Ministry at 3834 Hixon Ave, St Cloud, FL 34772 http://www.iamloveoutreach.com.
Kim’s family are forever grateful to the medical team at the Florida Hospital Orlando for their care and attention doing everything possible for her comfort.
Cremation services will be provided by Baldwin Brothers of Winter Park, FL. The family is planning a memorial service from 11AM to 1PM on July 29th at Altamonte Chapel 825 E Altamonte Dr Altamonte Springs 32701.
