Klem was in the Edison High Class of '57. So was I. Although our paths didn't cross much it's sad to see our class slowly fade away.

I was a classmate of Klem all through grade school and Sr. High at Miami Edison. We were in the same homeroom. I have not kept in touch over the years, but have many fond memories as class clown. My condolences go out to his family. I know he will be missed.

Dear family & friends: Klem & I have been friends since Jr Hi, then Sr Hi at Miami Edison. And especially in the Civil Air Patrol Cadet Squadron at the old MIAD. We graduated in 1957 but have been friends ever since. I have many memories of those days:Watching football on Sundays with his Dad. His Mom making us great meals at the 59th St restaurant where she worked, working with him as cabana boys at the old hotel on what is now South Beach. And many times sneaking over to the car dealers to see the new models when they were first unveiled,
helping deliver the Herald out of his '53 Chevie, overnight CAP search missions, summer camps at MacDill AFB and alot of beers over the years. Klem always had a love of life and family and great sense of humor, he liked being a cop and working with electronics and Face book. He will be missed.
May the Good Lord have mercy on his soul and bring comfort to those who mourn.
Klem, old friend, save some beer for me!
Gerald J "Jerry" Lowe Edison '57
