Obituary
Konradine Hurley – loving Oma, age 91, left her god given vessel on the Morning of Oct 15, 2022, at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital.
Born in Bamberg, Germany on July 3,1931 to her parents, Anna Schon and Konrad Braun. She was the middle of seven children. Being the middle child, she was the one who help tend the younger siblings, that caretaker role is what perhaps lead her later in life to pursue nursing, retiring at the age of 78. She enjoyed nature, animals, and the beach and keeping her surrounding clean and organized, including washing her car everyday. She was always willing to help when any family member was in a pickle. She will be missed dearly. She survived World War 2, two tornados in Key west, and close to her final years, a stroke. She was an example of what resilience is. Though she disliked change she was one who mastered it. She was preceded in death by her siblings Franzi Prizrenac, Mia Nikolic, Mushi Rehlinger, Gunter Braun and Jurgen. Her husband Thomas Hurley and daughter Theresia Potts. Konradine is survived by her brother, Albert Braun; granddaughters; Tammy Potts-Nettles, Christina Potts-Zamora and Jennifer Potts; great-grandchildren David Hamby, Jerry Hamby, Angel Hamby Stiggers, Thomas Zamora, Cidney Zamora and Iziac Diaz along with great-great grandchildren.
