    Uncle Kurt,
I can’t believe you are gone. You are the man that taught me what unconditional love is and what it meant to feel special to someone. I feel more alone in the world now than ever. Who loves me more than my uncles? I know that you are finally at peace and you get to be with your family again. I know you’ll be with Noelle and you will cherish her. I will miss you. And I’ll always love you. Knowing you will be waiting for me when it is my time... until we meet again.
    Love always,
Your favorite (I still remember that letter) Nic
