Obituary
Larry Jay Hopperton 82, of Wildwood, Florida, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 4, 2020. Larry was born in Warsaw, Kentucky on February 6, 1938 to William Edward and Helen Katherine Hopperton. He was a brave Veteran in the Vietnam war, where he served in the Air Force as a sheet metal mechanic with the rank of Staff Sergeant. Larry loved his country and was very patriotic. He loved being outdoors and hunting. Larry also loved western movies and wood working.
Larry is preceded in death by his wife Patricia Sue Hopperton, daughter Kimberly Sue Hopperton and brother Danny J Hopperton.
He is survived by his sister; Linda (Hugh) Doran of Fort White, Fl, children; Cindy (Ron) Falkner of Green Castle, IN, Deborah Krastanoff of St. Clair, MO, Tammy (Richard) Barnett of Wildwood, Fl, and Ricky Hopperton and Fiancé Dawn of St. Clair, MO, grandchildren; Stephanie, Josh, Ashley, Michael, Aaron, Miranda, and Lauren, and 16 great grandchildren.
Larry will be placed in his final resting place in Napoleon, Kentucky in a private family service. A Celebration of life will be held at a later date.
