Obituary
Lauren was my big sister, so I’ve known her for 52 years. She held me in her arms on the way home from the hospital so I’m told, and she carried me in her arms so many times since. She was a beauty and a sweetheart. She also had flaws like we all do. She died in The Villages Hospital in Florida due to complications of alcoholic liver cirrhosis after many years of steadily declining health. She was preceded in death by her ex-husband Dale Fightmaster, her spouse and best friend Terry Bellows, her father Robert, her brother Robert, and several friends. She is survived by her mom Constance, and her sister Penelope (me). She had a kind & generous spirit, a serious green thumb, a great love for children, and an astounding collection of mouse figurines. In her life she worked as a telephone operator for Michigan Bell/ AT&T, then later in construction alongside Terry Bellows specializing in marble tile setting. I wish everyone well who loved her. Please send good energy or prayers in her name whichever way you do it. In lieu of sending flowers anywhere, send charity somewhere. There was no funeral, but we will have a celebration of her spirit at some point in the future. Be well. Arrangements entrusted by BALDWIN BROTHERS Funeral & Cremation Society, 352-480-5959.
