Obituary
Lawrence Benjamin Wild , age 72, died of a heart attack on Sunday, May 23rd, 2021, in Cocoa, FL.
Lawrence (Larry) is survived by his 1 brother, 2 children and 4 grandchildren, his brother, Chris Wild, of West Palm Beach, FL, his son, Jarret Wild, of Titusville, FL; his daughter, Alicia Wild, of Port St. John, FL; and his Grandchildren, Scarlett Wild, Corbin Wild, Isabella Wild and Aurora Wild.
He is preceded in death by his late wife, Karen Reneé Wild. He was born on March 21st 1950 in Elizabeth, NJ, to parents John and Elizabeth Wild. He moved many times in his life, living in many parts of the nation from Alaska to Florida and the South Atlantic Islands. He Retired from the House of Harley at the young age of 27 and built a 44 ft schooner by hand which he proceeded to travel and raise a family for a good part of his life
Lawrence was a great man and a loving father. He married Karen Reneé Wild in the winter of 1980 and the couple had 2 children together, Jarret and Alicia Wild. He was a social, active man who was deeply involved in traveling for the majority of his life. He enjoyed sailing, chess, reading and his family. His family and friends will always remember him as a smart and inspirational person. A wake is scheduled for 11 a.m. on June 26th, at 89 Fairglen Dr. Titusville, FL . with a reception to follow at Docks Bait-house in Cocoa Village where close family and friends will accompany as crew, aboard the Agape, for the final send off and the spreading of his ashes. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Larry B. Wild’s life. The family would like to thank everyone for their support and condolences .
