Obituary

WOLFERSTEIG Lawrence (Larry) R. Wolfersteig of Ormond Beach,FL passed away on Wednesday December 27th 2017 at the age of 60. He leaves behind his loving wife of 17 years Susan (Ritchey) Wolfersteig. He is survived by his two children: Kimberlee (Wolfersteig) Lambert (husband Bryan) and Kyle Wolfersteig (wife Alyssa) whom he shared with former spouse, Mary Connor along with 3 step-children: Jeremy Carter, Janelle (Carter) Colby and Jordan Carter. Larry also leaves behind 3 brothers, Robert, Donald and Greg Wolfersteig. He is preceded in death by his parents Vincent and Mary (Brungs) Wolfersteig. He was blessed to have 2 grandchildren Connor and Kelsey Lambert and 5 Step-granchildren Kylee, Tyler, Mackenie, Coral and Brooks. Larry graduated from Father Lopez High School in 1975 and went on to serve 4 years with the United States Air Force. After which he came home and went on to work for UPS for over 19 years. He has spent the last 15 years working for Med-One Shuttle. He loved his FSU Seminoles, Miami Dolphins, cruising, traveling and golf and as far as he was concerned it was always “5 O’clock Somewhere”. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday January 13th 2018 at Baldwin Brothers Funeral Home located at 1185 W Granada Blvd. in Ormond Beach , FL 32174. Social gathering begins at 2:00 p.m. and a small service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Following the service , an extended celebration of life will be held at his home in Ormond Beach for anyone that would like to attend.

    Family of Larry,
    I am so sorry for your loss. This man helped through a time when I wasn't sure if I did the right thing. He reassured me that I could not have made a better choice and he was right. I owe Larry more than I can ever repay. Rest in peace my bother and save me a place at the poker table....
