Obituary
Leacil “Les” Wilfong, 85, passed away peacefully under the care of Cornerstone Hospice. He was born in Oklahoma to Elva and Bernice Wilfong on March 29, 1934. He studied music and attended the University of Oklahoma on a scholarship. While attending he played with the Oklahoma City University Symphony. Les later joined the marines where he served in Korea. He was then stationed in Cherry Point, NC where he met his bride Gina of 63 years and together they raised two daughters. Les was in the music industry for 6 years and then he got into the photo finishing business with Qualex a division of Kodak. After retiring in 2001 he and his wife Gina moved to The Villages, FL. He enjoyed reading, golf, playing music, and spending time with family and friends. Les is survived by his loving wife Gina of 63 years; daughters, Debbie Wilfong and Donna Koster; four grandchildren, John, Jason, Lee and Gina and five great-grandchildren. A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, August 6, 2019 at 12 PM with a reception to follow at Baldwin Brothers Funeral Home, 3990 East State Road 44, Suite 105, Wildwood, FL 34785. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in his name to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital of Memphis, TN.
