Obituary
Lee Peyssard, age 63, passed away peacefully at 7:15 a.m. on Saturday April 2, 2022, in his home from cancer with his wife at his side .
Lee was predeceased by his mother Elaine Margaret Rose (Betty) Peyssard nee Usher and his brother Robert Henry (Bobby) Peyssard.
Lee Peyssard is survived by his wife of 30 years, Vickie Belinda Peyssard nee Wood.
He will also be lovingly remembered by his father Hank Peyssard; four sisters: Ann Elizabeth Peyssard, Donna Sue Hutchinson (Raymond), Robin Lynn McLaughlin, Elaine Susan Krug; his daughter Alix Rairden (Ian); two grandchildren: Nolan and Elliott; and his many uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
Lee was born in Stann Creek, British Honduras (currently Dangriga, Belize). At an early age, his parents moved him to Florida, where he grew up, attended school, and established his corner in the world.
He spent over 40 years as an automotive window tinting professional. Although humble and not a seeker of accolades, Lee was proud of his top award in a window tinting competition.
Lee’s recent hobby was stained glass art. Lee found great joy in making stained glass pieces. He was self-taught, he learned by doing and became very proficient in the art. His work was admired by many. One of his shared interests with his wife Vickie, was the Society for Creative Anachronism. They were active members in its Lion’s Pride house, where they found a whole new family of adventure seekers.
Lee’s earthly body was cremated and his ashes will be taken to Belize (Central America) sometime in the future. In the meantime, your prayers and condolences are appreciated.
A celebration of life will be held on April 23, 2022in Cocoa, FL at 4:00 p.m. All Family and friends are invited.
