Obituary
Leonard “Bud” James Yaroch, 82, of Ocala, Florida (formerly of Port Austin, Michigan) passed away peacefully on September 6, 2024 in Ocala, Florida after a short illness with his family by his side. He was born December 10, 1941 in Bad Axe, Michigan to the late Leonard and Dorothy Yaroch.
After graduating high school he enlisted in the United States Air Force (1960-1964). He later owned and operated the Beverage Stop Party Store in Port Austin, Michigan. He spent his retirement years in Ocala, Florida where he married his wife Barbara. He was a member of the Lions Club and the VFW Men’s Auxiliary. He enjoyed golfing, boating, bowling and cooking. He was an automobile enthusiast and enjoyed spending time behind the wheel whether for work or leisure. He is known for his love of animals and his sense of humor and always willing to lend a helping hand. His most highly regarded activity was when he was able to spend time with family and friends.
Bud is survived by his wife, Barbara; son Thomas Yaroch; daughter Michelle (Sean) Hammond; grandchildren Cody (Kendra) Sessoms, Sarah (Prestin) Smith and Hannah (Tyler) Bishop; Great Granddaughter Callahan Sessoms.
We will always carry your memory in our hearts.
Private interment is being planned for a later date.
