Obituary
Lewis Larry Zido, 72 of Leesburg died suddenly on Friday, February 7, 2020. Lewis was born April 15, 1947 to the late Mildred and Lewis Zido in Cobleskill, NY. After high school he entered the United States Marine Corps to serve his country during the Vietnam War. Later he worked for Coca Cola for 32 years as a Service Technician and was a Volunteer for South Schenectady and Carmen Fire Departments. He married the love of his life, Lynn Bokland on December 31, 1985 and they moved to Florida in 2001. Lewis was a member of the AM VETS. He will be remembered for his giant heart and witty sarcasm. Lewis is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Lynn, his children, Jim (Gina) Zido, Scott (Krissi) Zido, Nicole (Tom) Molinaro all of Schenectady, NY, Ben Vacarelli of Deltona, FL; eight grandsons, and siblings Mary (Ken) King of Dorloo, NY, Teresa (Bill) Lape of Summit, NY and Robert Zido of Milford, NY. A life celebration will be held at 4PM, Thursday, February 13, 2020 at Scottish Highland Clubhouse, 1 Scottish Highlands Blvd., Leesburg. Memorial donations are suggested to PartiotFlight.org.
