Obituary
Linda Ann DeCoursey was a resident of Ormond Beach for over 37 years. She was born on October 30th, 1931, in Ossining New York to Manuel and Amelia Varela, and left this earthly realm on November 12th, 2021, at the age of ninety years old.
Mrs. DeCoursey is preceded in death by her husband Francis M. DeCoursey. She is survived by her son, Francis M. DeCoursey Jr. of Jacksonville, FL, her daughter Elaine Soriano of Ormond Beach, FL, and her brother Manuel Varela Jr. of Jacksonville, FL, 4 Grandchildren, 8 Great-Grandchildren as well as Nieces and Nephews.
There will be no services at this time. The family will have a private memorial service at a later date to have her buried alongside her husband in Miami.
We are so grateful that you have made us all in your own image, giving us gifts and talents with which to serve you. Please guide us through the coming years so that we may walk in your path. Keep us humble and kind.
Thank you for Linda’s life, and all the years we shared with her. Her life here was not easy, we pray her soul is embraced by all of her loved ones gone before her. We lift her to you today, in honor of the good we saw in her and the love we felt from her.
Please give us the strength to leave her in your care, in the knowledge of eternal life through your Son, Jesus Christ.
