Linda was a fellow North Miami High School alumnus graduating one year before I bid our alma mater adieu. Her late husband, Jim, and I became close friends a decade or so before he and Linda tied the marital knot. Linda will always be remembered for her friendliness, great smile and hearty laugh. Although our paths diverged after she and Jim moved to Georgia, we managed to stay in touch with over the years. After Jim passed, my wife and I scheduled monthly fun-filled luncheon get-togethers with Linda in Palatka. She'll be sorely missed.
