Obituary
Linda French Howell, 78, of The Villages, FL, passed away February 5, 2021. She was born to the late Mildred and Robert French, February 25, 1942, in Beckley, WV. She received a Bachelor’s in Education from West Virginia University in 1964 and taught English at the Springer School in Wilmington, DE. She married her college sweetheart, Thomas Howell, in 1963 and later made their home in West Chester, PA. She is preceded in death by her sister Mary Krisch and two daughter Stephanie Williams of Downingtown, PA and Jennifer Yost of West Chester, PA. She is also survived by two grandsons, Mitchell Williams of Wilmington, Delaware and Liam McKannan of Wet Chester, PA., one granddaughter, Felicia McKannan of Coatesville, PA. and one great grandson Davion Colbert. Linda will be remembered for her kindness, loving character, sense of humor and always ready for a challenge spirit. Linda loved to play golf and go for walks and was ready to go out for a meal anytime. Her sweet southern twang and the way she would light up a room will be missed by family and many friends. A private family celebration of life will be held in summer.
