Linda Marie (Gray) Langlois, 70, of Port Orange, FL passed away following a brief illness on Sunday August 15, 2021 in Florida. Linda was born to the late Alice (Thivierge) and Herbert Gray, Jr. on May 3, 1951 in Norwich , CT.
She graduated from Griswold High School in 1969 and was a member of the school band.
Linda was married to Gerard Langlois in 1985. She and Jerry resided in Jewett City until retiring and relocating to Port Orange. Linda is survived by her only daughter, Stephanie de la Cruz of Lisbon, CT and her two grandsons Gabriel de la Cruz and Alex de la Cruz. She is survived by three brothers: Herbert Gray III of New Hampshire, Gary Gray of Connecticut and Dean Gray of Florida.
Linda was a well-known person in Jewett City for many years first working at the Jewett City Savings Bank and then the Blanchard Insurance Agency where she was an insurance agent. Everyone knew Linda from Blanchard’s. She enjoyed being home and loved having friends and family visit.
She and Jerry retired to Port Orange because it was vey near Daytona Beach which they considered to be their happy place where they loved to spend time with close friends.
A memorial service in Connecticut is planned for a future date.
