Linda Lee Adkins Parsons of Port Orange passed away March 30, 2016. She was born October 18, 1939 in Eustis, FL. Linda moved to Daytona Beach with her parents Billie and Oley at the age of one. Linda met her husband Paul in Daytona where they married in 1964. They lived in West Palm Beach and Gainesville FL before returning to Daytona Beach. Linda was working as a Secretary at the University of Florida while Paul earned his degree until the birth of their first child. She then became a home maker. Linda treasured her lifelong friendships and her family. She could not resist a good dance song, enjoyed quilting, and working with stained glass. She also loved nothing better than heading out on the open road, traveling across the U.S. and Canada many times on road trips to explore and enjoy the amazing stops that made up the journey. Linda is survived by her husband Paul; her son Kevin and granddaughter Casey; her daughter Paula; her sister and brother-in-law Pat and Jerry Vause; her sisters-in-law Theresa Tedrow and Frances Sage and many beloved cousins, nieces, and nephews. There will be a celebration of her life on Saturday, April 9, 2016 at 10:30 AM at Baldwin Brothers Funerals and Cremations, 620 Dunlawton Ave., Port Orange, FL.
