Obituary

Linda Ruth Boorsma
July 29, 1942 – September 12,2020

It is with great sadness that the family of Linda Ruth Boorsma announce her passing after a long battle against cancer on September 12, 2020 at the age of 78 years.

Linda was born in Port Huron, MI on July 29,1942, however her life truly began on January 24, 1947 when she was adopted by her loving parents Mortimer and Ruth Snow.

Linda attended school at Marywood Academy and graduated from there in 1961. She moved from Michigan to Florida in 1981 to care for her father. During her work life, she had many different jobs in the healthcare field. Linda returned to school at South Western College and graduated in 2002 with a license in Medical Billing and Coding. Linda began working at Internal Medicine Associates where she eventually retired from in 2008.

She was happy with the simple things in life. She loved skiing, bowling, singing, fishing, and she was crafty. She loved her fur babies Max and Lacey!

Her life revolved around her family, she loved them with her whole heart. She loved old friends and welcomed new ones.
A strong woman, confident and forgiving with a kind, compassionate spirit. A fighter to the end. Most of all, she was a devoted mother and grandmother.

Linda will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Karen Hall, her daughter in law Michelle Hall, her son Thomas Boorsma, her grandchildren Alyssa Tiffany, Matthew Tiffany, Sarah Boorsma and Monica Labonte. Many close friends and family as well.
She is preceded in death by her parents Mortimer and Ruth Snow.

Think of her as living in the hearts of those she touched. For nothing loved is ever lost and she was loved so much.

A Celebration of Life will be held for close friends and family at a later date.

Linda was the best woman I have ever known. She was the most loving and compassionate person I've ever had the pleasure to know and share my life with for the past 22 years. I'm going to miss her with all my heart. May she rest in peace and have a great time meeting up with everyone she missed while she was here on earth. Love you forever Linda ❤

I will never forget our talks on your lap or our late night ghost whisper binges. You were one of my favorite people and one of my first best friends. Thank you for being the best grandma I could’ve ever asked for. I’ll love and miss you forever. I know you’re flying high with your lady bug wings

Linda and I worked together in IMA. She was a wonderful friend. Very caring. I admired her positive outlook on life. I was a young mother then and she gave me great parenting advise. We had tons of fun at work. She will be greatly missed. RIP my friend. God has opened the doors to a true angel.
