Obituary

Linda Lee Voigt, 71, joined her heavenly father on Sunday November 8th, 2020. She passed in her Florida home, her paradise here on earth, with her daughters Tracy and Amy and her dear, lifelong friend Jeanne Steele by her side.

She was preceded in death and reunited with her late husband Matthew Conarro Voigt, her son David Mark Grove, her mother and father Delores and Bruno Calla, her uncle Sonny Ferronti and numerous close friends.

Linda was born in St. Marys, PA June 28, 1949, raised in Warren PA, and graduated from Warren Area High School.  Upon graduation she was married, had three children and devoted her life to raising her daughters on to college. Her second marriage was on Dec 24, 1998 to her adoring husband Matthew Voigt.  They lived the first half of their life together in Warren and followed their dream of a life in Rotonda West, FL for the second half.

During their life in Florida, she and Matt enjoyed countless fun times with a close circle of friends, the beach, golf, and family visits with so many wonderful memories. She loved an upbeat church service, reading, music, laughing, her toes in the sand, watching for dolphins, supporting her grandchildrens’ activites, animals, and her Florida home.

She would say the greatest accomplishment of her life was being a loving mother and best friend to her two daughters.  She cherished her family and friends, and was devoted to each of them.

Her kind, giving heart and fun, fiesty personality will be missed profoundly by all who knew and loved her.

She is remembered with love by her daughter Tracy Van Steen and husband Shawn, her grandsons Evan and Landon Van Steen; her daughter Amy Forbes and grandchildren Louis and Morgan Forbes; her brother and sister-in-law Richard and Roseanne Calla, her niece Ashley Bowman and family; her nieces Jodi and Michelle Grove; her cousin Elsie Pasquino; and her dog companion for almost 17 years Snickers.  She is survived by her late husband Matthew’s daughters Heidi Stacy and Hallie Rossi and their families.

There will be a private family service to celebrate her life.

Donations can be made to St. Judes Childrens Hospital of whom she was a long time supporter.
