There was nothing he could not do. He served in the Military during World War II, fighting the enemy all across Europe. He graduated from Vanderbilt University with a Degree in Accounting. Lloyd retired from the USDA Office of the Inspector General as a Supervisory Auditor. His hobbies included crossword puzzles, swimming, diving, boating, walking on the beach, and repairing anything. His Survivors: Phyllis, wife of 46 years; Sister-in-law Gloria Peavy; Sons, Steve and Bruce (Wilma) Stubblefield; granddaughter Jessica Stubblefield; grandsons Eli and Samuel Stubblefield; daughter Anne Dobbs; close Friends Bruce and Mila Haught; Joan Henderson; Carolyn and Juan Frick; and so many dear Friends who loved Lloyd and whom he loved. Lloyd’s ashes will be buried at sea. There will be a small, private service at a later date, per his wishes. Lloyd, you were the Love of My Life; I WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU and look forward to being with you in Heaven. Donate to a Charity of your choice. We give Thanks to VITAS Hospice for the care they showed Lloyd in the last stage of his life.
