Obituary

Lloyd Larry Olson, age 75, died suddenly, February18,2021 at the Villages hospital in Florida.
Larry, as everyone called him, is survived and will be loved always by his wife of 57 years, Peggy (Jacobs). Two children, Jeffery Olson (Katheryn Renwick) of The Villages, FL. and Shelley (Mark) Haugh of Prior Lake, MN. Seven grandchildren, Jessica,
Whitney and Breanna Olson of Lakeville, MN. Tona (Sean) Kopas,
Jonathan, Joshua and Joseph Haugh all of Prior Lake, MN. Two great- grandchildren,
Kade and Coen Kopas. Also survived by seven sisters. Larry loved and was
so proud of his family and was looking forward to a third great- grandson,
due in March.
Proceeded in death by his parents and brother.
Larry was born, 1-12-1946 in Rapid City, S.D. to Orville and Lucille Olson.
He graduated in 1964 from Lakeville High School, Lakeville, MN.
Larry worked as a driver for Apple Valley Ready-Mix (AVR) in Apple Valley, MN, for 43 years.
Larry was always the guy to go to for help fixing just about everything.

Larry enjoyed golf, fishing, throwing horse shoes and playing cards with
friends,
And occasionally country dancing with his wife. His large family and many
friends will miss his contagious one of a kind laugh.

A memorial service and celebration of Life is being planned for late spring In Minnesota.

    Carolyn and I were sorry to hear of Larry’s passing, He was a great guy, and we have many fond memories. The biggest Walleye I ever caught was with Larry. He will surely be missed by all.
