Obituary
Lois Ellen Parry passed away on February 25, 2025, in Cape Coral, Florida. She was born on September 6, 1936, in Akron, Ohio, to Stanley Russell Gardner and Evelyn Regina Clifford.
At just 15 years old, Lois met Richard W. Parry in Sunday School, and their love blossomed into a lifelong partnership built on faith and devotion. Together, they created a warm and loving home, raising five children with kindness and unwavering dedication.
A devoted homemaker, Lois also found fulfillment in serving her community. She enjoyed gardening and was a member of the Grand Blanc Garden Club. She was a Cub Scout leader and an active member of the Christian & Missionary Alliance Church in Flint, Michigan, as well as, First Assembly of Ft. Myers. Her passion for teaching led her to serve as a Women’s Bible study teacher and the director of Daily Vacation Bible School for many years, sharing her deep faith and wisdom with those around her.
Lois found great joy in traveling with Rich to far-off places or together with their children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren in their motor home. Her faith was the foundation of her life—a guiding light that she shared generously with all who knew her.
She is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Lynn Isaacson (Michael); sons, Richard Jr. (Lori), Jeffrey (Tanya), David (Francine), and Daniel; as well as her brother, David Gardner (Stephanie). She is also remembered by brothers-in-law, Stu and Jim Parry; sisters-in-law, Jan and Ione Parry and Linda Cochran (Ken); many nieces and nephews; 12 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren who will forever carry her love in their hearts.
Lois’s legacy of faith, love, and service will remain an enduring inspiration. May she rest in eternal peace in the presence of her Savior.
Family and friends are invited to the graveside gathering on Monday, March 10 at 11:00 a.m., at Ft. Myers Memorial Gardens, 1589 Colonial Blvd. Ft. Myers, FL.
A Celebration of Life service in Michigan will be announced at a later date.
