Obituary

Lona J. (Morgan) Stommel, 80, of Port Orange, FL passed away in her home Thursday, June 26, 2014. Born in New Smyrna Beach on May 17, 1934 to May and Robert Morgan, she was a Florida native. She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Day, and son, Robert Flaherty, her 4 grandchildren; Christina Keeling, Amanda Day, Kimberley Ward and Robert Flaherty Jr, and her 5 great grandchildren; Ariana, Olivia, Jordan, Kesley and Kennedy. She was a retired bus driver and caretaker. She was best known for her love of animals and raising of poodles. A small service in memory of her life will be held at Epiphany Manor in Port Orange on Thursday July 3, 2014 at 6:00 p.m.
