Obituary

Life celebration for Loretta Carol Tumeo, 71, New Smyrna Beach FL who died Tuesday, May 1, 2012 will be held 3:00 PM Sunday at Coronado Community United Methodist Church 201 S Peninsula New Smyrna Beach FL.  Carol was born in Durham, North Carolina and moved to this area some 30 years ago. She worked as an Elementary School Instructional Aide in Newport News, Virginia and Boca Raton, Florida. Her hobbies and interests were diverse. Her greatest enjoyment was having family around and cooking for them. She considered her girlfriends Angels unaware. Carol loved life and was full of joy! Always willing to help others, she lighted up the room when she entered. She was joyous and fun.  She leaves to cherish her memory her husband and friend of 24 years Luigi, children Dee Dee Chantry, Nicky Charles Hartless, Todd Hartless, sister Shirley Castellow, brothers Charlie and Wayne Clark, grandchildren Jacquelyn Chantry, Anna Leah Chantry, Stephen Chantry, Heather Hartless, Kai Preston and Delia Hartless. She will be missed but never forgotten.

    Carol was always there with a ready smile, a hearty laugh and usually a good story. When you hear all the memories that people will share may it bring comfort knowing how much she was loved and will be missed by everyone she knew. I know we will always remember her with a smile.     I will always remember sweet and funny mrs.carol every summer I would visit my nana and papaw (Joann and Benny glover). She was always excited to see me I will miss her and always remember her.

    Carol always made us feel welcome since the day we purchased our home on breezway court. We will Miss her bubbly personality , her smile and her welcoming hug . It was a pleasure to get to know Carol and her friendship to us will not be forgotten. Lynn and I where saddend by this news
