Loretta E. Lang, 87 of Orlando died on Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at her home with her family by her side. Loretta was born May 16, 1926 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Loretta and Melvin McCroy. She was the oldest of seven children, and a mother to many. She grew up as a child of the great depression, and knew what it was like to have nothing. Loretta married the love of her life, Harry E. Lang and they settled in Kingston, NY to raise their family. She was a seamstress, hard worker, dedicated mother and a loyal wife. Loretta had a generous heart to the very end. She would give you the shirt off her back. Her passion was her children and grandchildren. She loved to drive fast whether it be in a car or on the back of a motorcycle with her husband. She will be missed by her family. Loretta was preceded in death by her husband, Harry. She is survived by her two daughters, Nancy L Craft of Orlando and Kathleen M. Lang of Saugerties, NY; grandson, Sean Craft of Orlando and four granddaughters, Katie Craft of Poughkeepsie, NY, Kelly Craft of Orlando, Ayla Naghsh of Ithaca, NY and D’Arci Bittner of Saugerties, NY. A life celebration will be held from 3-5, Friday, October 11, 2013 at the Winter Park Chapel, 301 W New England Avenue, Winter Park with sharing of stories and prayer service at 4PM.
