Obituary

As we celebrate the life of Lori Hodgin, a woman whose presence was a beacon of warmth, love, and selfless dedication. Lori’s life was a testament to the profound impact one person can have on the world around them. Her unwavering commitment to others defined her and left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her.

As a loving single mother, Lori’s devotion to her son, Paul, was the heart of her existence. She sacrificed endlessly to ensure that Paul had the best life possible, always prioritizing his needs above her own. But Lori’s nurturing spirit extended beyond her immediate family. She welcomed Paul’s friends into her home with the same care and affection, creating a haven where everyone felt valued and loved.

In her professional life, Lori excelled as an event coordinator. Her meticulous attention to detail and her genuine desire to create memorable experiences for others made her a standout in her field. Every event she orchestrated was a testament to her elegance and commitment, with every detail attended to with care and respect. Her legendary fondue became the stuff of local lore, a symbol of the joy and warmth she brought to every gathering.

Lori’s fiery red hair and diminutive frame belied the commanding presence she held. Her visits to Paul’s workplace were always events in themselves, with people standing in awe of the “chairman of the board” as she entered. Her charisma and vivacity were matched only by her generosity and kindness.

Though we are deeply saddened by Lori’s departure, we find solace in knowing she has moved on to a new chapter, one where she is reunited with Jesus. Our hearts ache with the weight of her absence, yet we are comforted by the hope that we will see her again. Perhaps, in heaven, Lori will take up her role as an event coordinator once more, crafting divine celebrations for all eternity.

Today, as we say goodbye, we remember Lori not only for the remarkable woman she was but also for the joy and love she so freely gave. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of those she touched, and her memory will be cherished forever.
