Louis M. Andersen, Jr., of Edgewater, FL, passed away, April 19, 2011 peacefully. He was born in Brooklyn, NY on December 21, 1924. He was married to the late Mary Jane Davenport Andersen who waited 17 years for their reunion. Louie is survived by his son, Roy Andersen, and his wife Karlyna and his daughter, Lynn Handy, and her husband Jesse. He is also survived by five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren who have gathered together to celebrate his life and love.
Louie moved to Florida with his wife in 1986 to retire from being a technician for York Borg-Warner out of New Jersey. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed fishing on a regular basis. Louie was known for his positive outlook on life and how much he loved his family. His children and grandchildren will always remember his great sense of humor.

A life celebration will be held 11:00AM, Friday, April 22, 2011 at the Southeast Volusia Hospice Care Center, 4140 South Ridgewood Avenue, Edgewater.
