Louise C. Arth, 88 of New Smyrna Beach died Thursday, September 2, 2010 with her family by her side. Louise was born March 31, 1922 in Washington, DC to James M. and Pearl C. Stadtler. Louise has been a resident of New Smyrna Beach since 2003 moving there from Middleburg, FL. Prior to that she lived in Interlachen, FL for many years. In Interlachen she was a member of the St. Andrews Episcopal Church and involved in many church activities. At one time Louise would take pleasure in rading and needlework. Once moving to New Smyrna Beach she enjoyed giving of her time to the Kings Daughters & Sons group who helps the less fortunate. Her loving and gentle hand will be passed on to her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Louise was preceded in death by her husband, Charles. She is survived by her four devoted children, Veronica and Terry Kelly of Lake City, FL, Charles and Betty Arth, Jr. of Orange Springs, FL, Donald and Sandy Arth of Lake City, FL and Pearl and Jim Thomas of New Smyrna Beach; seven grandchildren, Amanda Reichert, Mack Kelly, Sarah White, Deanna Arth, Kimberly Flemming, Tracy McGetrick and Melissa Skelton; seven great grandchildren and brother, James M. Stadtler, Jr.
A celebration of life will be held 11:00 AM, Friday, September 10, 2010 at St. Andrews Episcopal Church, 111 Francis Street, Interlachen, FL
