Obituary

Louise Kelso (Dugay) Wentworth passed away January 20, 2021, peacefully and surrounded by her family, having fought a long battle with Alzheimer’s. She spent the last 3 months of her life under the wonderful care of Regency Elderly Care in Edgewater, FL.
She was born in Concord, NH on October 8, 1934. Over the course of her life, she graduated from Concord High School and in 1954 earned her Associate’s Degree in Secretarial Science from Bryant College in RI. She then worked as a Legal Secretary for a law firm in Concord. In 1971 she worked on and received a Business Teaching Degree at Plymouth State College in NH, and her subsequent Masters in Business Education from Southern New Hampshire University in 1984.
Lou taught in the Business Department of Merrimack Valley Regional High School in Penacook, NH, becoming involved in Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) at the statewide level before retiring as the Department Head after 30 years.
She retired to Edgewater Landing in Edgewater, Florida, where she continued living her life full of friends, adventure, love and all that retirement had to offer. She also loved traveling and cruising in particular.
Her husband’s pre-deceased her. She leaves behind her only child, Anne Berry and Son-in-law Donald Berry of Edgewater, Fl, and Gilmanton, NH, 3 loving grandchildren, Elizabeth Major, Brayden Berry, Amanda Berry and 2 great grandchildren, Eisley and Riley Major.
Services will be considered once COVID-19 has calmed. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Alzheimer’s research. Her family would welcome cards telling of your favorite memory of her.
