Obituary

 Lucille A. Shpack, 76, lost her courageous 12 year battle with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP) on August 9th, 2012. She was the former spouse of Anthony R. Shpack and companion to Constant S. Poholek of Attleboro, MA, and New Smyrna Beach, FL., until his passing in June of 2011. Born in Amesbury on September 4, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Wilfred J. Lemaire and Lucienne A. (Lariviere) Levesque and her late sister and brother-in-law, Priscilla and Dale Cressy of Amesbury MA.  She was a graduate of Amesbury High School and Lawrence Beauty Academy. Lucille is survived by her daughter Jane and son-in-law Lee Fitzwater of Geneva, FL., whom she resided with and her son John and daughter-in-law Ann Shpack of Attleboro, MA. Leaving behind loving grandson’s Jesse and Jacob Watson of Geneva, Florida and loving grand-daughter Hilary Shpack of Attleboro, MA. Sister’s Anita Garand and her husband William of Liverpool, NY, sister Pauline Gaudet and her husband Arthur of Seabrook, NH & New Smyrna Beach, FL., as well as her sister Claire Brogan of Newbury, MA, along with many nieces and nephews. Lucille retired in 2001 permanently moving to her home in New Smyrna Beach, Fl., where she had been previously spending her winter months. Lucille was very active in social events and groups including Fairgreen Garden Club and The Council of Catholic Woman Club at Sacred Heart Church both of New Smyrna Beach. Also while living in Attleboro, Ma, she was a member of the Sturdy Memorial Hospital Women’s Golf League. Lucille enjoyed playing cards, board games and a great love for flowers and the ocean. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 18, 2012 at noon, at Baldwin Brothers Funeral Home, One North Causeway, New Smyrna Beach, FL.
