Obituary
Luther Wright, 86, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 10th, in Fort Myers, Florida. Born on February 14, 1938, in New Jersey, Luther lived a full life, following his passions both on and off the tennis court.
Luther was a professional tennis player and a successful business owner, but he was best known for his kind heart and love of life. He spent his days on the beach with his companion Emily, enjoying great food and the company of their beach friends, always ready with a smile and a story to share.
Though he had no living family members, Luther is survived by many dear friends, including Tessa O’Gilvie and Yvonne Schmitz, who will always cherish the memories of his warmth, wit, charm, and joyful spirit. Now, he is reunited with his beloved Emily, the love of his life. In keeping with his wishes, there will be no formal service. Those who knew him are encouraged to remember the good times, his love for the beach, his friends, and life itself.

We always had nice conversations and good laughs.
You were always happy when I made you breakfast or brought you something good to eat. Although our time spent together was short, I hope my presence made your day a little brighter. Luther was a very special client and I will cherish my time spent with him forever. Rest easy friend.
Luther was always so kind to me! He will be missed but I’m glad he is with Emily again! Rip my friend!
