Obituary

Lynda Francis Denney, 73, New Smyrna Beach FL passed away Friday, April 28, 2017. She was born in St Augustine FL a sixth generation Floridian. She was a bus driver for Volusia County Schools with 22 years of service. She was an avid bird watcher, enjoyed the outdoors, babies and was an avid FSU Seminole fan. She is survived by her children Robin Denney, Sandy Marchaza, Melinda Denney, Morgan Denney, siblings Judie Rutledge, Debbie Uyttewaal, Joe Bates, eight grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sister Mary Askew. Services will be private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Southeast Volusia Humane Society.

    As the shock wears away and acceptance is taking place, devastating sadness is clouding everything. I miss you so much already, mom. I know you're home now, free of pain, and keeping vigil over all of us until we're together again. I can still feel all your love from here. I love you mom. Rest easy.
