Obituary
Lynda L. Scott of Ocala, Florida passed away on May 19, 2017. Born in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania and daughter of the late Lawrence H and Lelia Kizer Scott, she was a graduate of Bllomsburg University and taught 33 years at the John James Audobon School in Scranton, Pennsylvania. She was a Bible student, loved to read, play piano and be with her dog. Surviving are a niece, Margaret Boast of Charleston, South Carolina and four great nieces. She was preceded in death by a brother, Robert K. Scott of Murphy, North Carolina and a niece, Janet Avanzini of Hernando, Florida. There will be no formal services. Interment will be private in the Kizer Cemetery in Cortez, PA. Memorial Contributions may be made to Ocala West United Methodist Church or Cortez United Methodist Church.
