Obituary
Lynda Pauline Knefel, 75, formerly of Pompano Beach, Florida; daughter of the late Eleanor L. (Herrick) and Richard A. Knefel, was born in Chicago, Illinois on May 26, 1947.
She passed away to her heavenly father in Ocala, Florida on July 21, 2022, at 8:00am, after a long and courageous battle with multiple illnesses. She was met at heaven’s gate by her twin sons, Shawn Richard, and James Thomas Devlin, who died at birth in June/ July 1971; her parents and her loving sister, Susan Elaine Knefel; also, her brother-in-law, Larry Koch, Sr., and nephew, “L.K.” Koch, Jr.; a great niece Alexis Koch, along with her grandparents, aunts, and uncles.
She is survived by her sister, Pamela, her niece, Nicole Anne Koch-Colclough, both of Ocala, her nephews, Todd, and Terry (Diane) Koch, from Allentown, PA; great niece “Skye”, great nephews, Jakob and Zak Colclough, all of Jacksonville, FL, Rod Koch of Allentown, PA, and her dear cousin James Matthey of Chicago, IL.
Lynda retired from Delta Airlines after more than 20 years working in various cities. She was a real “people person” and excelled at each position she held, especially computer sales & training. She also was responsible for the Delta Crown Rooms, where passengers knew that could count on her expertise and experience. She also cared for her mother and younger sister, Susan until their passing in Pompano Beach, Florida.
Lynn loved her family & career; she traveled the world and had a wonderful life. She will be missed by all who loved her.
