Obituary
Lynn D. Van Leaven, 67, died on Tuesday, December 8, 2020. She was born April 16, 1953 to the late Robert Edward Van Leaven and Eileen Helen Van Leaven (Landow). Lynn is survived by: her twin brother, Lee David Van Leaven and his wife, Debra E Van Leaven (Tessmann) and their two children Karla Galllina (Van Leaven) and her husband, Anthony and Christopher R. Van Leaven and his wife, Heather and children, Piper and Rylie; a brother, Lawrence “Larry” Dean Van Leaven and his wife, Susan M Van Leaven (Griffin) and three step children, David, Robert and Jeffrey Rull; cousins Frederick and Thomas Van Leaven, Kevin, Wayne, Barry and Stacey Kropelin.
Lynn has a VERY Storied life with many adventures, but included in this was a Navy Career as a Navy Chief Personnelman for 20 years. Veterans Affairs director for the county of Perry in PA for another 21 years of service to military veterans. She received her BA in Business Administration and retired from the Veterans Affairs. Lynn was the life of any party and was also very giving. She was very active in her churches that she attended. She touched hundreds of people’s lives in PA, alone.
The family will receive friends 1:00-3:00 pm on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at Baldwin Brothers Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 4320 Colonial Blvd., Fort Myers.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, December 17, 2020 at Calvary Chapel Gulf Coast, 20991 Three Oaks Pkwy, Estero, FL.
