Obituary
Manuel “Manny” Frank Lamarche, aged 60, of Guantanamo, Cuba, passed away on April 27, 2024, in Maitland, FL. He was born on March 24, 1964. Manny was a loving, funny, graceful, trustworthy, inspiring, and giving person whose presence brought joy and warmth to all those around him.
He was an accomplished Architect Designer, leaving behind a legacy of creativity and innovation in his field. Manny’s dedication to his craft was evident in the beauty he brought to the world through his designs.
Manny will be dearly missed by his beloved wife, Eva Lamarche; his mother, Wilma Lamarche; his brothers, Miguel Ángel Lamarche and his wife, Mary, Juan Bautista Lamarche, and Manuel Antonio Lamarche; his nephews, Miguel Ángel Lamarche Jr. and Rafael Edward Alvarez, and his nieces, Macarena Lamarche and Aranza Lamarche; aunts Myriam Chiu, Cornelia Mediaceja, and Pura Carames; uncles Chava Mediaceja and Manuel Carames; six cousins; brother-in-law Rafael Alvarez; sisters-in-law Maritza Alvarez, Soraya Alvarez, Jaime Hungria, and Cara Lynch.
He was preceded in death by his father, Manuel Antonio Lamarche, his grandmother, Pura Chiu, and his grandfather, Frank Chiu.
A private memorial service for family will be held, followed by cremation. Baldwin Brothers in Orlando, FL, is assisting with the arrangements. Manny Lamarche’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. May he Rest In Peace.
2019, la última vez que te vi. Pensaba regresar este año para seguir saliendo a pasear y llenarte de mil y una preguntas sobre arquitectura (carrera que al final si decidí tomar), para seguir descubriendo Orlando junto a ti y tía Eva.
Este verano lo esperaba con ansias... pero te fuiste antes.
Aún recuerdo ese viaje donde te vi después de tanto tiempo, cada día esperaba con emoción tu entrada por la puerta de la casa cuando llegaras del trabajo, porque eso solo significaba una cosa, aventuras en familia, muchas risas y conversaciones largas.
Orlando se sentirá muy vacío y diferente sin ti, quería tener la oportunidad de diseñar junto a ti, pero eso no estaba escrito.
Hasta que nos encontremos de nuevo, te amamos y amaremos siempre tío Frank

Manny was one of the funniest and most unique people I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. He was a wonderfully talented designer and although we worked in different fields in the same office, he was a pleasure to work with and be around in his presence. I will always remember his infectious smile and laughter.
I took this photo of him on his birthday back in March of 2022 at FK. Whenever it has shown up on my memories it has always made me smile and laugh. I hope it will bring the same joy to others as it had for me. Rest in peace my friend. Until we meet again...
