Margaret “Peggy” Elinor Brod, 82, of Port Orange passed away Wednesday, 
October 30, 2019.  She was born July 9, 1937, in Oak Creek, Wisconsin, daughter of the late Norman and Zeffie Apel and sister to Kenneth and Barbara.
Peggy’s greatest love was her children, rivaled only by her precious Miniature Pinscher, Too Cute, better known as Kutz. 
Peggy was an always happy and loving person whose sharp wit and bright smile will be forever remembered by many close friends and extended family.  
In addition to her parents and sister, Peggy was preceded in death by her husband, Henri Brod.
She was the loving mother of David “Scott” Peters, Julia Maris, Donna Spence, Fredrick Peters, and bonus son, Jay Manger.  She was the proud grandmother to Amber Mobley, Elizabeth Heinenon, John Michael Maris, Stephanie Hicks, Jennifer Anderson, Brittany “Noelle” Grossman, David Peters, Michael Peters, and Brenna Smorto, as well as ten great-grandchildren.
At her request, a private celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
“Those we love are with the Lord.  And the Lord has promised to be with us.  If they are with Him and He is with us, they cannot be far away” .
