Obituary

Margaret (Polly) Callin (nèe Nickols) passed away quietly on Jan 25, 2021 due to complications of Alzheimer’s. Margaret was born in Norwalk Ohio in 1935. She was the 6th generation to live in her family farmhouse on Mason Rd in Berlin Heights, Ohio. She graduated from Berlin Heights High School, class of 1953. She worked at Berlin Heights Box shop until she married the love of her life in 1956, and moved to Elyria, OH.

In 1963 she moved to Florida. She began a career as Special Ed teacher assistant while raising her family. She was a wonderful mother always caring for a daughter with special needs. She retired in 1996 and moved to Clermont FL where she enjoyed crafting, especially quilting, time with her grandchildren, her beloved dogs, and gorgeous sunsets.

Margaret is preceded in death by her parents Lloyd and Marion Nickols, brother James Nickols and oldest son, David Callin. She is survived by her husband Glenn Callin, son, Rick Callin (wife, Deb) Daughers, Louise Callin and Beth Wilkinson. Also, by 3 granddaughers, Brandie Branum, Stephanie Wilkinson and Samantha Wilkinson and 2 great grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held at South Lake Presbyterian Church on Saturday Feb 6th at 2:00pm
