Margaret- you were one of my favorites! I was so blessed to have worked with you for a few years at Higher Ground. I last emailed you almost 8 yrs ago to tell you how special you are. I still have the bundt pan and recipe from Carl and the picture of the butterfly that landed on my thumb for hours at the ropes course, great memories. All my love to you, Carl and your family.

I worked with Margaret for many years at Higher Ground. She was a mentor and friend. She took me under her wing as a newbie counselor. I can't count the times I found myself in her office with a work or personal dilemma, seeking her counsel. She always provided a safe space to be an imperfect human and wisdom on how to make whatever issue it may be, manageable. I will forever be grateful for her grace, guidance, wisdom, and love. She is deeply missed! Sending love to Carl and family as you navigate this difficult loss.

I've known Margaret, Carl. & their children for over 40 years. And Margaret was the closest thing to a Mentor I've ever had.

She taught me love & forgiveness, humility & pride in a job well done, persistence & perserverence, patience &, hopefully, some of her wisdom has worn off on me. We were neighbors, fellow airline people, community members, & friends.

I had been sending texts (& memes, funny pictures, old memories) almost daily since late August, until she was too sick to write, & then, I kept in touch with Carl. As much as I prayed for her suffering to be over, she will be missed... greatly.
Fly with the angels, dearest Margaret.

Every time I think of this loss I well up with tears. This woman had such an amazing impact on my life and healing. I will be forever grateful. I was able to tell her how much I loved her back in Oct when she participated in a retreat via zoom- even though she was in pain. I knew it would be the last time i saw her and I sobbed. I trust that she will continue to have an impact on my life and many others just from a different location. I love you Margaret!!! I pray daily for your family during this challenging time.
