Margaret Albritton Tucker
Margaret was born on January 19, 1932 at Fort Pierce, Florida and died on September 6, 2021 at Oviedo, FL. Margaret was preceded by her parents, Louie and Sara Albritton, her twin sister Miriam Appleton, and sisters Helen Williams, Sally Weyer, Betty Boyd, her brother, Louie Albritton, Jr. and her husband, Cecil A. Tucker, II. She is survived by her four children, Patricia Schrum, Miriam Williams, Cecil A. Tucker, III and John Tucker, 7 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Margaret was a cowgirl from birth. Margaret attended the University of Florida majoring in Animal Husbandry. At the University, when she began to court Cecil, she left her Animal Husbandry program to simply major in Cecil Husbandry. They were married July 27, 1952 at Fort Christmas Baptist Church in Christmas, Florida. Margaret and Cecil were married for 68 Years. She loved her Savior, Jesus Christ, her family and outdoors with her horses and cattle. She was a member of Fort Christmas Baptist Church in Christmas Florida where she was a Sunday school teacher and Church Treasurer. She was an active member of the Christmas Civic Association, Christmas Historical Association, Seminole County Historical Association, Florida Cattlemen’s Association and Florida Farm Bureau. She will be missed by her family, church, friends and her community.
