Just wanted you to know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. I was associate pastor at Akron in the 80's when you had a cottage at YCL. I am now pastor at Akron. I have many fond memories of Margie and Monroe. Blessings!

MORRIS TURNER: RHODY, I HAD LOST TRACK OF YOU IN THE PAST YEARS SINCE AT GUIDE WITH YOU AND MARGE. SO SAD IN HEARING OF MARGE PASSING. YOU TWO WERE A PERFECT COUPLE. SHE WAS ALWAYS SO WELL DRESSED AND BEAUTIFUL. A WONDERFUL LADY.

Dear Family and Friends,
I had the good fortune to have beloved Margie as my "adopted mother" during my college years at Anderson College, roomie Margo. Margo would take us to her home where love reigned surpreme. Marge would be my Mom away from home and I espectially remember Christmas and her fine artistry in the home and kitchen. We shared insights and quest for Christian living and she was a Mentor Mother to me. How very fortunate I was to have her in those "transition years" to adulthood. I treasure her in my heart and ache with those who lost her.

Monroe and Margo, I remember all of you so fondly in days at East Side Church. My parents were Oliver and Gladys Howard. I always admired your wife/mom. She was a special lady!! My thoughts, sympathy, and prayers are with you. Joann (Howard) Smith

I attended East Side Church of God in Anderson with Margie and family, in youth group with Margo. Margie was always such a classy lady and lived a very consistent life. My prayers are with you both, Monroe and Margo.
