Maria T. Velez-Cordero, 79, of Kissimmee, Florida, passed away on September 9, 2014 at Consulate Healthcare Kissimmee, Florida. She is survived by her son Jose Benitez and his wife Evangeline Benitez, granddaughter Mary E. Benitez, and Jennifer Colom, grandsons, Jonathan Colom, and Jeffrey Colom, great granddaughter Shannon Marie Benitez, two brothers Efren C. Velez and Carlos Velez, two nephews Carlos A. Velez, Jr. and Efcel Velez, niece Sasha Velez. Funeral Services are planned for Monday, September 15, 2014 at 10 A.M. at Baldwin Brothers Dove Chapel, Orlando Florida. Family and friends may visit on Sunday from 2 to 4p.m., and Monday at 10 A.M. at the funeral home.
