Obituary
Marian R. St. Pierre-Mongeon, 74, of Daytona Beach, Florida passed away on July 24, 2016 at her residence. She was born in Woonsocket, Rhode Island to the late Oscar J. and Josephine (Tabak) St. Pierre. Marian owned Marian’s Sew and Vac Store in Bellingham, Massachusetts, she owned a sewing machine and vacuum cleaner store in Middletown, Rhode Island and she was the owner of Mariner House in Newport, Rhode Island. She ended her career as a CNA in Daytona Beach. Marian was very involved with the veterans and the youth, and she enjoyed sewing and giving sewing lessons. She was a 20-year member of the Elks, and was the Exalted Ruler of the Elks in Warwick, Rhode Island and in Port Orange, FL. Marian is survived by her three sons, Michael Mongeon, Reverend Peter Mongeon, and Timothy Mongeon; her 2 granddaughters, Lisha and Samantha and her 2 grandsons Benjamin and Gregory; her sister, Melinda Tedeschi; her two brothers, John and Joseph St. Pierre; her six great-grandchildren and her companion of 26 years, Wayne Levesque. Memorial donations may be made in memory of Marian to the Parkinson’s Disease Foundation, 1359 Broadway, Suite 1509, New York, New York 10018. Arrangements are in the care and trust of Baldwin Brothers Funerals & Cremations, Port Orange, Florida.
