Obituary

Marilou Esther Brehm, 87, of Tavares passed away on May 30, 2020.  She was born to George L. Moore, Sr. and Elenora (Wilkes) Moore on January 12, 1933 in Brownsville, PA.  Marilou retired in 2000 from Hughes Supply where she worked for 27 years.  She was very involved in her church as the Sunday School Superintendent for Goss Memorial United Methodist Church in Orlando.  She expressed herself creatively by painting China, mosaics, sewing, and crafting.  Marilou and her friends enjoyed playing bridge games that lasted late into the night. She had quite the chicken themed collection.  Marilou will be remembered by her generous hospitality, her ability to find something good in everyone, her infectious laugh, her love of gardening and her delicious cooking and baking. She is survived by her Daughters Valerie Nash and Tammy Lagasse; Son Thomas J. Brehm; 2 Grandchildren Leslie Donahue and Tamara Fales; 4 Great-Grandchildren Grant Donahue, Carson Donahue, Avery Fales, and Grayson Fales; Nieces Cynthia Collins, Judith Moore, and Kimberly Kowal; Nephews Bruce Moore and Kevin Moore.

She is preceded in death by her Husband Raymond “Jay” Brehm; Brothers George L. Moore, Jr and Robert Moore.

Services will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2020, at 11:00 am at the Orange Avenue Church of Christ, 1511 E. Orange Avenue, Eustis, FL 32726.  There will be a luncheon immediately following the service in the Fellowship Hall at the Church.
