Marilyn was a dear friend. We met at Norfolk Southern Railway in Norfolk, Virginia in the 80's. I was transferred to Atlanta in 1995 where her mom & sister resided. We reconnected again there. In later years we reconnected once again when she visited a dear friend in Palm Coast, FL who happened to be my neighbor. She was the kindest, generous person I am lucky enough to call my friend. My heart is broken. Heaven has just received a very deserving angel.

Marilyn was a dedicated volunteer at the Six Mile Cypress Slough Preserve. I enjoyed working with her there; she was always kind, interesting to talk to, and very helpful. We shall certainly miss her.
