Marilyn Elizabeth McDowell Cubero passed away peacefully on August 25, 2010. She was born on June 26, 1928 in Dayton, Ohio to Perle and Florence Collins. She was the widow of Michael Cubero. Marilyn spent the first half of her life in Ohio and has lived in Florida for the past forty-five years. She was employed as a comptroller for several companies.
She is survived by five children, Edward H. McDowell and wife Mindy of New Smyrna Beach, Dr Christine McDowell Tucker of Charlottesville, VA, Mark C McDowell of Coral Gables, FL, Claudia McDowell of Valencia, CA and William J McDowell of Miami, FL, 12 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren also survive.
A memorial service will be held in her honor on Saturday, August 28, 2010 at 3:00 PM at Baldwin Brothers Heritage Chapel 1 North Causeway New Smyrna Beach FL.
The family wishes to extend a special Thank You to the Carton Shores Assisted Living Facility for their loving care for the past four years and to Hospice of Volusia/Flagler.
