Marilyn J. Merrick, age 75, was born February 11, 1946, at Flagler Hospital in St. Augustine, FL to Robert and Catherine Johnson. She passed away September 16, 2021, at Halifax Hospice.

Marilyn graduated from St. Augustine High School. She worked for many years at Wesley Manor Retirement Village in Fruit Cove as a loving care giver. She had a passion for plants, gardening, and animals. She spent much of her time outdoors caring for her plants and pets. Marilyn is survived by her son Dylan (Kristen), siblings Betty Belcher (Ronnie), Bobby Johnson and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Leon. Donations can be made to the St. Augustine Humane Society.
