Marilyn Mundell Schenk, age 50, died on Friday July 8th 2022 at Cate’s hospice house in Ocala, FL surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Andrew Schenk. They shared 17 years of marriage together.Marilyn was born in California on November 26th, 1971 to Daniel Mundell and Sandra Olsen (Carmack). She spent most of her career working in childcare. She also spent most of her life in Portland, OR until recently moving to Ocala, Fl with her family in December 2020.Marilyn is survived by her husband Andrew Schenk; her children Ashley Mundell, Jessica (Zachary E.) Gallagher and Jacob (Anya) Gallagher; her step-children Tyler Schenk and Brianna Schenk; her grandchildren Faith, Hope, Harmony, Zayden, Mason; step-grandchildren Sophia, Damien, Addison and Jaxon; her father Daniel (Maya) Mundell; mother Sandra Olsen; brother Lee (Amy) Thompson ; and sisters Lisa Thompson and Tiffani (Kaleigh) Gerbode.Marilyn was a devoted wife and mother. She loved her family more than anything in this world. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and spending time outdoors doing fun things like going to the beach or sightseeing. She was very strong in her faith and enjoyed reading the Bible and listening to Christian music. Marilyn was one of the kindest people you could ever meet. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 1pm on Saturday July 23rd, 2022 at Celebration Church,12404 SE 112th Avenue Rd, Belleview, FL 34420.
